We just went to get our AD checked.. So many dates to choose from, ranking from 1 - 5 (with 1 as the best date)
Saw the recommendation from SGBrides. He's Master David Tong. He quite young though but gives very detailed report.

He selected few dates (actually alot hmmm.. like 15 or more?) for us and even ranked them accordingly.

The earliest ranked '1' is not suitable coz it's in Sept 2010.. too early.. We dont think our house will be ready by then and we dont think we will be able to book our banquet.. It's too rush... Maybe the nxt ranked '1'.. Then we will have more than 1 year to prepare and SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to check out our solemnisation venue and secretly took photos (coz it occupied) hehehehe



It wasnt the same as the last time I went to... They repainted the place.. probably a major renovation?!?!




It's kind of difficult to find the unit.. quite deep in.. hahaha.. mayb we walked one big round lah.. :p



See that MJ table there? I tink every bungalow has one in it leh..
hahaha.. no need bring tables next time liao... :p




Oh.. the TV had upgraded to LCD and we saw people playing WII.... Wheeeeeee

Met up with the girls yest for dinner plus they bought me a present.. ROM present and THE MAN DUN GET IT..
He said.. "so unfair, a ROM present but I DUN HAVE ANY SHARE IN IT!!"

Well.. they said "coz he has our sand already mah" :p

Actually I didnt noe whether to or not to buy a new pair of heels to match my gown. The reason being coz it's gg to be in a chalet, indoor, why need to wear heels? BUt if we intend to go out for mini photoshoot, at least there's matching heels to go with...

So while waiting for our rings to be engraved, we shopped. But they didnt have my size so I paid for the heels first and I went Bugis to get my heels the every next day.

I thought it was too plain with just the rose.. so I added crystals to it... hehehehe... The heels now in my room.. I can see it whenever I entered my room.. CANT WAIT TO WEAR THE NEW HEELS... :p

We went to Lee Hwa, Goldheart, SooKee, SK, Citigems... We heart one from Lee Hwa and one from GoldHeart.
The staff at SooKee was unfriendly and helpful.. (u tink we wldnt buy issit? bad service & attitude)

The one we saw at Lee Hwa is really nice but it's very expensive... close to $3k for a pair..

And we left the place. Guess wat, the price tag sticked to my top.. I dunnoe how it happened.. Luckily it didnt have the "prevent-thief-tag" attached to the price tag... (i really dunnoe wat is that called.. but i hope u all get wat i mean) hahaha

 

We went LH again another day.. and this time he saw another pair.. seems so-so.. when i tried it, i reali fall in love with it.. and it fit nicely.. not onli mine fit perfectly, his too =)

Tada.. and of course we bought it.. =)

 

 

 

See the engraving? Yup we done it and we didnt forget our rings before we went AMK hub. LOL

Engraving.. Part 1 [Feb. 18th, 2009|10:22 am]

We went Cineleisure on last Wed to engrave our wedding bands but we only found Bits & Pieces and they didnt have the service to engrave symbols (eg: heart-shaped) only the branch in AMK Hub can do it so we went off.. Headed towards Centrepoint coz loony suggested Mushroom Pot for dinner. We went into Centrepoint to try our luck to see if there's another shop which provide engraving services. We went into Lee Hwa and asked the staff if they provide engraving services (but we already know they only provide basic engraving services (ALL IN CAPS) BUT the staff said there's a shop in Cineleisure that does engraving........ $1 per character.. so cheap loh.. so we u-turned back..

From Cineleisure to Centrepoint den Centrepoint back to Cineleisure again.. We went up and round e whole building.. there's no such shop called "the gift gallery" I tink it's closed down and the so-called gift gallery had been taken over by shoe selling shop -_-" Waste our time....... den we headed for our Mushroom Pot lah.. dun care already, damn hungry just eat.. heheheh tat's y "Sandria loves mushrooms" in Facebook.. ^_^

Less than 3 weeks, we better engrave our rings fast coz supergal from Singaporebrides said sometimes it will take 2-3 wks for them to do the engraving...

We went AMK hub for engraving.. loony and I went back to his place to get his van coz it will be more convenient for us to go home after that.. We went to the carpark.. no sight of his van.. called his dad, ohh.. his papa went to fetch his sister from AMK but is on his way back already. No where to go.. we went up to his hse to wait.. Read newspaper, slack abit, go toilet.. den we went out again....

While in AMK hub carpark, looking for parking lot, I suddenly want to look at our rings.. den I asked "where's ur bag?"

THE BAG IS AT HOME AND THE WEDDING BANDS ARE IN THE BAG... -_-"

Mission failed.. Insert more coins.............

If you have the time, you should really DIY the things you need. Like a pen like this, it can cost $20 for a pair.

But it cost me less than $8 for below.....



I'm thinking to make a pen stand.. But dont know where to start... hahaha

We decided to have simple DIY invitation cards for our relatives and for our friends, we'll just email and/or sms.

First of all, what's our theme?

Hub is fine with anyting because he noes i'm the mafan one so he just leave it for mi to decide.. hahaha. So i decided on "Gold and White" since he asked mi to decide.

Here's our DIY invitation cards. The effect of the picture seems not bad on gold colour.. We like.

Waiting for them to R.S.V.P before we can confirm on the catering.

Till now.. We have not:-
1) Order our catering
2) Decide what to get for decorations
3) Decide on the songs to use
4) Decide to get the MUA to go to the chalet on that day
5) Get my heels?!??!?!?!

Hahaha.. Less den one month to go.....

We went for BS shopping today; not really shopping coz there's exhibition at Suntec. Many BS, many couples, many coordinators trying to saiko us. Hahahaha... Actually we are considering to go JB for BS hunting, however come to think of it, we have to travel in and out plus mayb all those jams at custom... it's kind of time consuming. We also have to look for free lance MUA & a dress on ROM day so mayb getting a local bridal package will be better.

We saw French Bridal (seems not bad as commented by his friends who just got married in Nov 08) so we decided to find out more. Vivian showed us some albums and the photos are pretty nice BUT taken in TW.. LOL.. OMG... I want to go TW for photo shooting man..... they have really nice scenery... Just add 1.8k to the package, we can go TW for wedding photography. Inclusive of our air tics & accommodation & transportation there. Not only that, the air tic, accommodation & transportation fees are also included in the 1.8k for the photography and MUA! NOT BAD RITE ACTUALLY...  so we can just stay few more nites there den we can eat ji ba and drink nai cha.. hahahhaa... (but meaning we cannot go TW tis apr liao, need to wait till next yr already for our photo shooting.. Photoshooting and holiday together!) :(

So where can i go for holiday in order to utilize my holiday benefits hmmmm.....

Anyway we signed up but not from French but from Jazz, they have lacey and flowery gowns, really what i love, hopefully no regrets from signing up with Jazz. According to Vivian, the coordinator, sister company, less crowd, u can have the fitting room by urself coz it's by appt.. hmmm i like.. hahahaha.... but b4 we accepted the offer, i have a checklist, Vivian saw it and she said we came prepared & imm she threw in more freebies... or rather adjust the package abit.. hehehehe.. probably she noes we really want to get a package and cannot cheat us anymore.. kekeke...

The BTB needs to exercise more, eat healthier and go for facial once a mth to be a pretty and lovely bride.. hahaha.. am i veri kaisu? hahaha.. yes i tink i am but i like to hav advance planning...... just in case if anyting happen, there's owas time to prepare.. *choy, touch wood*

We went Woodlands to consult Pei Qing Jie for an auscipious date for our solemnisation. We wanted 9th March but she said it's bad for me in future. So she chose 7th March instead and it's going to be very good for the both of us. He was thinking to have it in lunar calendar 'ba yue' but Pei Qing jie said if at first we decided on a date (9th March) dun push to late date, else will never get married so we chose 7th March.

2) Place for solemnisation - Booked - 28/12/2008
3) Find solemniser - Found - 29/12/2008
4) Get our wedding bands (But i think we can start to hunt for the wedding bands already)  - Gotten - 01/01/2009

7) Catering - Ordered - 18/02/2009 but deposit not yet paid
8) Decorations

And I need to decide to get ROM package or get free-lance MUA and dress rental
